More Efficiency and Performance: The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter With a New Four-Cylinder Diesel
The bottom line is what drives business today. As we slowly get back to full speed, you need a better hedge on your uptime, as well as your books.
That is why Mercedes-Benz Vans will now offer a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine on our popular Sprinter Cargo model. With 166 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, there is the power you expect out of your Sprinter van. This engine will be mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
The advantages with the four-cylinder diesel engine on the Sprinter will be beneficial when it comes to your fuel bill. Expect lower fuel consumption, along with lower emissions, high torque and higher elasticity at low speeds. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with this new four-cylinder diesel engine will be the most flexible and reliable tool available to you on the job.
Our Sprinter vans offer the best productivity tools in the business. These tools include Mercedes PRO connect digital fleet solutions, Keyless Start, brake hold functionality, and charging capabilities with two USB-C sockets in the dashboard. Each Sprinter van offers a load-adaptive electronic stability program and metal load compartment floor for better management of your work – from package delivery to at-home repair services here in the Eugene-Springfield area.
This new diesel engine can be equipped to Cargo versions only with rear-wheel-drive on the 144” wheelbase standard roof configuration and on the 170” wheelbase, including the extended wheelbase high roof model.
The Sprinter with the new 2.0-liter diesel engine should arrive at Mercedes-Benz of Eugene later in 2020.
