Coming Soon: 2019 Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe

The soul of the Mercedes-AMG GT can now be captured with a couple more doors on the side.

Introducing the Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe.

The GT lineup has already drawn attention from enthusiasts. It has also taken to the track with triumphs worth celebrating. But would add a rear seat and two more doors would spoil the idea of a track-bred lineup of sports cars?

Actually, no. It is simply a track-tuned four-door coupe with a hatchback that can be driven daily – by you.

Underneath the hood is a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine that produces 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. This engine is capable of making the AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe the fastest vehicle of its kind. Joining the GT 63 will a GT 53 model with a special version of the 3.0-liter in-line turbocharged six-cylinder engine.

Handling is enhanced by its active rear-axle steering, which acts to tighten up the turning radius on the street, as well as making easy work of the corners on the track. On the back is the standard deployable rear spoiler, which provides the right amount of downforce at various speeds. Everyone inside the AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe will appreciate the AMG® RIDE CONTROL sports suspension based on AIR BODY CONTROL. The driver can select between a hardcore, track-focused ride or something softer for cruising.

Opting for the top of the range GT 63 S model will include these features: AMG® Performance Exhaust System, the AMG® Dynamic Plus Package including Active Engine Mounts, RACE Mode, Drift Mode, and AMG® Drive Unit steering wheel controls.

Pricing for the Mercedes-AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe will start from $136,500. Mercedes-Benz of Eugene should expect our first AMG® GT 4-Door Coupe in the first half of 2019.
